ODS Trainer’s Workshop with Jan Ebeling
Friday & Saturday, October 6 & 7, 2017
Viola Farms, Canby, OR
Participation is open only to Dressage Trainers / Instructors / L Program Graduates who are ODS members.
This is your chance, as a Dressage Professional, to work together with Olympian Jan Ebeling to make solid training decisions for the improvement of horse and rider.
Jan will share his training and instruction techniques from Training through the FEI levels. For each level there will be 40 minutes of teaching/evaluation and 20 minutes of discussion, allowing for questions and thoughts from workshop attendees. These are interactive sessions with a moderator.
Just think: USDF Trainer’s Symposium in your own backyard!
Top Olympic rider, Jan Ebeling, has so many credentials it is hard to begin. Born in Germany, Jan was an apprentice under late German master Herbert Rehbein and earned his “bereiter”, a German license to train horses. In 1984, he moved to the US working alongside Robert Dover while Dover was preparing for the 1984 Olympics. In 2007, Jan was awarded the USET training grant and made the decision to return to Germany, taking all his horses. In 2011, Jan was highest ranked USA rider at the 2011 World Cup Final in Leipzig, Germany. In 2012, Jan represented the USA at the Olympic Games in London. He’s proven himself time and time again and has a keen eye in training.
